Plan B. Where's Yours?

When birth control fails – or after a sexual assault – women have a second chance to prevent unintended pregnancy.  This birth-control option is called emergency contraception (EC) or the "morning-after" pill, and it's sold over the counter under the brand name Plan B®.  It can help prevent pregnancy after sex if used correctly. 

NARAL Pro-Choice America created the Plan B. Where's Yours? campaign to educate women about this important back-up birth-control option and to ensure that pharmacies stock the medication.

Support Accurate Sex Ed

Sex education should provide young people with the facts they need to make responsible decisions, stay healthy and safe, and understand how to protect themselves from unintended pregnancy and STDs. Unfortunately, instead of promoting honest, medically accurate sex education, President Bush has spent your tax dollars on dangerous and unproven "abstinence-only" programs that actually censor life-saving information that would help teens protect themselves.

98%. Birth Control. Something we can all agree on.

What is 98%?  It's the percentage of American women who use some form of birth control during their reproductive lives.  That's an overwhelming majority!  Even though birth control is basic health care, the anti-choice movement still opposes it, and is trying to restrict women's access to it.  That's why we're calling on our nation's leaders to improve access to birth control.
