How to Use the Choice Action Center

The Choice Action Center is a powerful tool for pro-choice Americans who want to learn more and back up their beliefs with action. Following is a description of the information and tools you will find in each section.

Click on Take Action for ways to get involved. You will find online campaigns, including petitions; messages you can send to President Bush, Congress, and key federal agencies; and fun movies. In this section we also provide "how-to" tools that cover the basics of organizing.

Click on Congressional Record on Choice to find out how your members of Congress voted on choice-related measures last year. The Congressional Record and scores are updated annually.

Click on In Your State for up-to-the-minute information about state legislation, the enactment of new laws, and decisions handed down by state and federal courts related to reproductive rights. NARAL Pro-Choice America is the only organization to provide this comprehensive information.

• This section features Who Decides?, NARAL Pro-Choice America's premiere resource of choice-related state laws and legislative activity. Every state profile page includes a grade on women's reproductive rights, pro-choice and anti-choice laws, statistics about access to health care providers, interesting facts, and contact information if there is a NARAL Pro-Choice America affiliate.
  
• Click on State Bill Tracker to learn what pro-choice and anti-choice legislation your state lawmakers are considering. The State Bill Tracker is updated daily.

Click on Women's Stories to read the thoughts and experiences of women from all walks of life who agreed to share their stories with our readers. You can also share your own story in this section. We believe that collecting and sharing stories gives voice to the millions of women who are on the front lines of the pro-choice movement and who are affected by anti-choice attacks on our rights.

Click on the Bush v. Choice blog for a fun, interactive way to come together with other pro-choice Americans to discuss news and actions related to the right to choose. The Bush v. Choice blog is written by Jessica, a feminist writer from New York, and the founder and executive editor of Feministing.com, a blog for young feminists.

Click on the "We Are Pro-Choice America" photo gallery for an inspirational view of what the pro-choice majority really looks like. These activists downloaded our "I am Pro-Choice America" flyer, took a picture with the flyer, and submitted it to us to share with you.
